Tulsa, OK. - “We don’t have anything against different races, our concerns are about politics and the law”, introductory words by Dan Howard, founder of the group Outraged Patriots.

Right away, Howard pointed out that “never before we have had so many people, from different nationalities, crossing our borders in a daily basis, over and over again.

In this country, there is an invasion. Meanwhile this situation is happening; we have politicians without enough manhood to resolve this problem”.

Then, 6 months ago, during a council meeting in the city of Tulsa, the idea about forming a patriot group, was born. “Concerned Americans formed a patriot movement about the current immigration situation”, Howard said, explaining the beginning of the group.

“Our big problems are with some politicians, indeed, it is a combination of factors. Even more, we are sure that there are some anti-American politicians”, said Dan Howard and Jack Horath (co-founder of the group), during an exclusive interview with the Hispano de Tulsa.

Our problem is at a federal level. We are proud of the Oklahoma delegation, because they have said to Washington: You have put us in this mess, now what?

Everyone is in this mess, including the Hispanics”.

Howard explained the immigration situation from his perspective, pointing out that “at this very moment, we have millions and millions of illegal immigrants and even though I feel sorry for their situation, they are in violation of immigration laws”.

Also, Howard added that “I am mad because they have crossed my borders, but I’m really mad at the majority of the politicians in Washington, democrats and republicans. Even more, I need to say that part of the republican group have sold themselves to big corporations”.

In correspondence of the above opinions, Howard and Horath made special reference about a side of the current immigration situation, “it’s a new form of slaves, a notch closer, the only difference is that they’re getting paid. For me, this is terrible and the politicians are responsible for letting this situation happen, they should not hold a public office again, never”.

On the other hand, Howard wanted to make clear that the immigration anomaly “is not a problem of the democrats and it is not a problem of the republicans. It is a problem of the Americans. And every single patriot has to defend the Constitution”.

Explaining his idea, Howard, said that “the Constitution doesn´t have grey areas. President Bush and many politicians are openly against our Constitution, and I am saying this from an intellectual perspective, not from emotions”.

To explain his concept plan to address the current immigration problem, Howard said that his movement “doesn’t have any problem with legal immigration, ruled by the law, regardless of the national origin”.

Then, Howard explained the actions that need to be taken according to his point of view:

“First, we have to militarize the border. Then, we need to heavily fine those corporations that promote illegal hiring, sending to jail those CEO´s involved in such practices.

Then, those who want to apply for a visa need to do so from their country of origin. With this they will be at the beginning of the line. Of course, we need to run an extensive and effective criminal background checks. If someone has a felony on record, there is no chance to apply. Never”.

Howard went direct to the point about a massive deportation action, and He said that he does not “believe in the use of extreme force for deportations”. At the same time, Howard expressed that “I don’t expect that everyone will leave on their own; that is the reason we need to set a goal for them in the horizon”.

Obviously, Howard mentioned his controversial billboard, located near I-44 and Mingo Road exit over 21st Street.

“The billboard is not against the Hispanic community, the purpose is to get the attention of patriotic citizens and start alerting the Congress, so they can do their job”.

Howard pointed out that he “had a hard time with the billboard, because I don’t like to see the American Flag in that way, upside down. I understand that everybody has a feeling for their country and I respect that, but when someone insults my flag”, (like it happened last March 27th 2006 in Montebello, California), “then we will have a problem”.

In conclusion, Howard said that “we are importing poverty; we are converting America in a third world society. I understand that many people who come here are following the American Dream, but they have to do it legally. This country needs to recover the courage and apply the laws”.

Howard and Horath, ended the interview saying that “no group, and no person, needs to be afraid of us, we are the messengers…the leaders for the citizens to recover our country”.
